The phenomenal loveteam Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza were recognized and were given the 14th Gawad Tanglaw Awards.Alden was given the award for best actor for his outstanding portrayal in Magpakailanman’s “The Alden Richards Story”.
Maine was given the title "Natatanging Tanglaw ng Kabataan sa Sining ng Telebisyon."
In Maine’s award acceptance speech, she states that they do not only wish to bring joy and laughter to the dabarkads but as well as to impart valuable lessons
“This is an honor for us because we do not wish only to bring happiness to people but also to share life lessons to the viewers especially the youth."said Maine.
